Got out for a couple hours this morning (first time in a while). NOT the worst day, but not outrageously active.
The 1st year male Grosbeak was hunkered down in the middle of the trailhead at dawn.
There were also 2 Rusty Blackbirds, about a dozen Tree Swallows, and a migrant Red-bellied Woodpecker as well.
I missed a dark Ammodramous sparrow that fluttered along the causeway, toward shore.
All seen in Westport, MA
