Subject: IBET Reminder about good behavior at the Rufous Hummingbird in Elgin, Kane County (No sightings)
I can't believe I have to say this.

The homeowner has granted you permission to view the Rufous Hummingbird on her private property. There is no need to take advantage of that generosity. Please observe the following rules:

(1) Give the bird some space. If it is not coming to the feeder you are too close. Back up.
(2) Don't linger. Once you've seen the bird and haven taken a few shots, if that's the case, please be on your way. This is not your own private studio. Staging shots with flower baskets just seems ridiculous.

Don't make me look like an idiot for suggesting to the homeowner that this would go smoothly.

Thanks!
