Subject: [MASSBIRD] Gill - Pink-footed Goose and Cattle Egret
Greetings birders,

A Pink-footed Goose dropped into Barton Cove with a flock of migrant Canada
Geese this morning. I actually saw the group arriving from Unity Park on
the Turner's Falls side of the river and then moved across to Riverview
Drive, Gill for a better look. However, the bird was quite easily visible
from both sides of the Connecticut River;

Also of interest, 2 Long-tailed Ducks at Barton Cove and a single,
continuing Cattle Egret at Boyle Road and Upinngil Farm this morning. The
egret is shuffling back and forth between the two sites.

Good birding,

James
