The previous early fall date for Nebraska was 6 November (two reports) followed by 8 November (two reports). According to eBird, there are only three reports further south in North America for October. One from northeast Missouri in 1983, another in northern Kentucky in 1960 and lastly one in central Illinois in 2015.
