First Junco showed up in the yard yesterday. Didn't come to the feeders, but he was in the yard.
Feeder activity picked up a bit over the weekend. Have a young Coopers Hawk making things interesting already. Still over-run with House Sparrows (20 plus eating/spilling all the seed in site....)

Below are the species that I witnessed at the feeders over the weekend:

House Sparrow
Coopers Hawk
Mourning Doves
American Goldfinch
House Finch
Carolina Chickadee
Red-Bellied Woodpecker
Northern Cardinals
Carolina Wren
American Robins (in the yard)
Blue Jay
White Breasted Nuthatch

Project Feederwatch begins in a couple of weeks, I will start sending weekly reports.

Take care,
Jason Verdier
