Subject: Thanks to Missouri River Bird Observatory, RBAS trip also

Thanks to Missouri River Bird Observatory for conducting another evening of Saw Whet Owl banding and for their warm hospitality. One Saw Whet popped up at the last minute at 11:00 Saturday night. He was a treat to see! (Contact MRBO if you'd like to ask about attending in Arrow Rock--they have a website),
The River Bluffs Audubon trip in the morning to Eagle Bluffs was duck-filled with several hundred gadwall, mallard, and some pintail, shoveller, and green winged teal. Fox, white crowned, and swamp sparrows also were seen and a hunting harrier.
