Subject: [CT Birds] NE CT Lakes, 10/29
Toured some lakes around Thompson and Woodstock late this morning during the light rain and had the following:

Quaddick Pond, Thompson: A few apparently recently arrived Hooded Mergansers, 1 Double-crested Cormorant, 1 Pied-billed Grebe on the pond north of Baker Rd. On the main pond from the boat ramp were several dozen Ring-billed Gulls
West Thompson Lake: Not much here besides several dozen Canada Geese and another Cormorant
Roseland Lake, Woodstock: 19 Ruddy Ducks. Also a few lingering Chipping Sparrows and Sapsucker at Roseland Park feeders
