Greetings birders,

Just a handful of sightings from the Gill and Turner's Falls area over a
pretty interesting couple of days;

Cattle Egrets - continue on Boyle Road and at Upinngil Farm, Gill but
numbers down to one bird by the 28th.

Scoters - 6 White-winged on the 26th, 2 Surf on the 27th and 2 Black on the
28th all at Turner's Falls/Barton Cove.

Bufflehead - 2 at Turner's Falls (Rod and Gun Club) on the 27th.

Bonaparte's Gull - 1 (first-winter) at Turner's Falls on the 26th.

Red-necked Grebe - a raft of 6 at Turner's Falls on the 26th.

White-eyed Vireo - 1 (initially heard singing) in a riverside thicket in
Turner's Falls during 25th-27th.

Rusty Blackbird - 2 on Boyle Road, Gill on the 27th.

Images of many of these, including the vireo can be seen here;
