There is a Sanderling associating with about a dozen Dunlin in the mudflats behind the coffer dam. This afternoon, they were on the far bank, visible from the end of the road area.
Also, two female and/or first year Surf Scoters are in the main lake. These have been visible all day from both the coffer dam and the Ornithology Center, sometimes associating with a large group of Green-winged Teal.
At the coffer dam mudflats, there are also five Franklin's Gulls and two Bonaparte's.
