Short stops at the beach parking lot have been productive the last 2 days
at the lake.
Yesterday-
Dunlin 40 single flock
Bonapartes Gull 20
Short eared Owl 3 soaring out over lake.

Today-
Red Crossbill 15-20 in pine stand between parking lots. I identified 2
birds in a landed position as Reds and assume the rest were not WWCR. As a
remark. From what I saw in the 15 minutes I sat in my truck at this site,
today was likely a good day for longshore migrants including finches.
