Another magical time at WOW in Catalina, Az. I was delighted to find 2 Cassin’s Finches…a lovely male and a female. CJ pointed out calling Red-breasted Nuthatches. They were calling to each other and it seemed like there were at least 4 individuals. Roadrunners were actively feeding young on the front lawn, Woodhouse’s Scrub-Jays were frequent visitors at feeders, Northern Flickers (Red-shafted), White-crowned Sparrows, resident birds, numerous species of butterflies, and masses of flowers added joy to the day.
