Subject: [MDBirding] Rock Creek Park proposed changes
Hi all,

After months of silence, the NPS has come out with its modified plans for the Rock Creek Park Nature Center area. Birders who frequent this part of the Park should take a careful look at the plans and submit comments. There is also another public meeting scheduled - details are below:

The National Park Service has also announced a new public meeting to outline and describe the final alternatives being considered for the Nature Center Complex Development Concept Plan. The meeting will be held at the Rock Creek Nature Center on Wednesday, November 1st from 6:30 until 8:00 pm. NPS will go over
the plan and compile comments from attendees. As part of the meeting, there will be a power point description of the alternatives at approximately 7:00 pm.

The website for the plan is https://parkplanning.nps.gov/ROCRDCP. The deadline for public comment on the Plan is November 30th. Please send this information on to others.
