Subject: [JERSEYBI] Jaeger species
Hi Jersey Birders,
When it comes to Pelagic birds I am as dumb as a box of hammers.
Steve Glynn and I enjoyed the Jaeger show at Cape May Point and
photographed 2 birds we could use some help on.
A light juvie and a dark adult (?).
There have been some reports of Long-tailed Jaeger from the rips and these
2 birds seemed very small and the darker one lacked any of the white wing
panels we saw in the Parasitic's.
I assume they are Parasitic but you know what that will get you.....
Any help, input or comments would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Harvey Tomlinson
