Subject: [CT Birds] Bluff Point 10/21

It was a nice flight at Bluff Point this morning despite the late date and that the wind trickled to a stop at dawn.  Despite the dead calm, birds still pushed through the hot corner.  Highlights

warblers - ~340,almost all Yellow-rumped Warblers
Black-throated Blue Warbler
Palm Warbler - 2
kinglets - 450, about an even mix of both species
American Pipit
Eastern Meadowlark
Blue-headed Vireo - 16
Hermit Thrush - 55
Red-breasted Nuthatch - first of the season at Bluff Point
Dark-eyed Junco - 825
Common Raven
