Subject: [COBOL] Heart of Oregon birding trip 10/12/2017
ECAS volunteers led a group of Heart of Oregon youths and a couple of their leaders, Justin Berl and Dave (sorry, Dave, I didn't catch your last name) to the Crooked River wetlands and sewer ponds in Prineville this morning, which was a chilly and windy one but without any rain, thankfully. HOO supplied two vans of enthusiastic folks for a morning of discovery.

Falcon sp. (chasing a flock of Red-winged Blackbirds)

Black-billed Magpie
Common Raven
Barn Swallow
Yellow-rumped Warbler
Song Sparrow
White-crowned Sparrow
Red-winged Blackbird
Western Meadowlark
American Goldfinch
