Haha. I couldn't count a capture-and-release bird! :) Amazing story, Bob! (But I'm definitely looking up on my way home)

This species was here ( several birds) a full day on the wing and spotted (and I think reported) about 15 years ago or so by several birders in the psychology department at Fraser Hall.

This was an extremely odd "sighting" today. Staff came to my office and said there was a bird in a plastic wastepaper basket in an unoccupied office. flew in a window in Fraser Hall likely last night and took refuge in the waste paper basket and apparently got stuck (it could not get out - could not cling to the plastic or fly out.. Could see the white on the trailing secondaries in the basket. Covered it and carried down seven flights and put the basket on the ground and it took a few tentative steps and bolted on the wing. With apologies to the number 1 campus birder Phil Wedge who I should have called before releasing. Mea culpa.
