Subject: [CT Birds] Bicknell's Thrush rejected from Endangered Species list
The USFWS recently decided not to list Bicknell's Thrush on the ESL. It seems they use a 30 year timeline to analyze if the species will face extinction. They determined that its habitat would not be so compromised in 30 years that the thrush would have problems. Very short term thinking in my opinion.
