Subject: American Golden Plover and Western Kingbird, Fort Fisher, NC
Fort Fisher is delivering the goods lately.

I had an American Golden Plover looking very sharp this morning about half a mile south of the Aquarium parking on the beach (4x4 required unless you don't mind walking).

Bruce Smithson found a Western Kingbird on a telephone wire about 50 yards south on the main road past the turn off for the aquarium. Clear white sides to tail ruling out all those other pesky Kingbirds.

I have photos of both.

As Audrey says "It's Amazing out there".
