Visitors: Mark Boyd, Jessica Morris, Travis Rennig, Dan Knarr, a group of Cornell students on fall break (Go Red!), and lots of general visitors.
Weather: Unseasonably warm. Ground fog early, with haze burning off by noon. Light east and southeast winds in the morning switching to west and southwest 10 mph with gusts to 15 or more in the afternoon (which shut down the sharpie flight). Cloud cover in the afternoon was 50-70%.
Raptor Observations: Bald Eagle: 1034i, 1120i, 1123a, 1123i, 1123i, 1214i, 1249i, 1423a, 1429a, 1429a, 1517i Peregrines: 1201a, 1213u, 1246a, 1330i, 1459a. The last peregrine flew by the lookout with something yellow in its bill (goldfinch or warbler?)
Non-raptor Observations: Monarchs (25), Canada Geese(14) several ravens, small flock of cedar waxwings, close looks at chimney swifts,
Predictions: Clouds and sunny spells; very warm and muggy with a couple of showers.
