Subject: [Va-bird] some migration push, Fairfax County, 06 October

Starting around 11 AM today, we've had a distinct up-tick in the migrants at our home yard today, unexpected considering the warm weather. About 20 species total from Mourning Dove to House Finch. Besides the usual crew, we've seen:

both Kinglets
Northern Parula
Black-and-white Warbler
Black-throated Green Warbler
Rose-breasted Grosbeak

That's not a huge list of migrants, but it's a lot compared to this location for the past week,. I'm curious if anyone else is seeing a "push" today.
