ALLEGHENY COUNTY:

On 8/24 during night migration in Moon Township, overhead calls included VEERY, SWAINSON'S THRUSH, CAPE MAY WARBLER; on 8/25, BLACK-BILLED CUCKOO, VEERY, SWAINSON'S THRUSH, CAPE MAY WARBLER, BOBOLINK (GM).

At Sewickley Heights Park on 8/25, 3 CHESTNUT-SIDED WARBLERS, 1 CERULEAN WARBLER, 1 YELLOW-BELLIED FLYCATCHER, 1 WILLOW/ALDER FLYCATCHER, and others (GM).

On 8/26 in Bridgeville, 1 COMMON RAVEN (RT).

At Harrison Hills Park on 8/27, 1 OLIVE-SIDED FLYCATCHER, 1 CANADA WARBLER, and others (JH et. al.); on 9/1, 1 YELLOW-BELLIED FLYCATCHER, 1 PHILADELPHIA VIREO, 1 BAY-BREASTED WARBLER, 2 CHESTNUT-SIDED WARBLERS (AH); on 9/3, sightings included CHESTNUT-SIDED WARBLER, CAPE MAY WARBLER, 1 CANADA WARBLER (JV).

On 9/1 at Dashields Dam, 1 COMMON TERN (MVas).


ARMSTRONG COUNTY:

From last week: on 8/19 at Crooked Creek Lake, possible BAIRD'S SANDPIPER (ABu).


BUTLER COUNTY:

At Squaw Valley Woodlands on 9/3, 2 COMMON RAVENS (DW).


CLARION COUNTY:

In the Mill Creek area this week, WHIP-POOR-WILL (reported to CW).


CRAWFORD COUNTY:

On 8/31 at Woodcock Creek Lake, 2 STILT SANDPIPERS, 1 BAIRD'S SANDPIPER, 1 WHITE-RUMPED SANDPIPER, 1 RED-NECKED PHALAROPE, 1 GREATER YELLOWLEGS, 9 LESSER YELLOWLEGS (MVas); on 9/4, 1 RED KNOT (reported to MVas).


INDIANA COUNTY:

Along Elders Ridge Road on 9/3 and 9/4, 1 GLOSSY IBIS (ABr, MF).


LAWRENCE COUNTY:

On 9/4 in New Beaver, 6 COMMON GALLINULES (MVas).


MERCER COUNTY:

On 8/23 at State Gamelands #270, 1 AMERICAN AVOCET (RN).

At Shenango ponds on 8/27 and 8/29, 1 BAIRD'S SANDPIPER, 1 SHORT-BILLED DOWITCHER; also on 8/29, 1 MERLIN (MVas, SS).


WESTMORELAND COUNTY:

On 8/22 at Donegal Lake, 1 STILT SANDPIPER (JMcD); on 8/25, 6 LESSER YELLOWLEGS, flyover BOBOLINKS (MF).
