Subject: [CT Birds] Barkhamsted - Sedge Wren
I just got a call from Dave Rosgen:
Barkhamsted, Lower Greenwoods Recreation Area - while sorting through a
large number of Sparrows that included a Lincoln's Sparrow, Dave observed a
Sedge Wren. He had walked into the area near the end of the rutted dirt
track that continues straight where the road turns left toward the last
parking area. He described the point where he saw it as an area with a lot
of blackberry bushes about half way between the little grassy pull off and
the small parking area at the end of the dirt track. In other words about
200 feet past the grassy pull off and 200 feet before the parking area at
the end of the dirt track.
