I walked the bottom of Carp Creek this morning from just below Carp Avenue to the estuary. I had 4 species of Empidonax; I'm still working out the ID for one of them. Try it yourself using my photos at http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist/S39517875 Also there were 2, and probably 3, races of Orange-crowned Warbler present there. At the Andree Clark Bird Refuge were 4 Spotted Sandpipers, 3 Pectoral Sandpipers, 2 Dunlin, 27 Least Sandpipers, and 3 Western Sands. One of the Pectorals was the same long-billed, dark-billed bird that caused problems last week.
