Bird numbers were way down, but I squeezed out 14 species of warblers today in Duck, NC from the boardwalk. Best bird was a Wilson's Warbler. Also had redstarts, parulas, palms, Blackpolls, a Black-throated Blue, Hooded Warbler, N. Waterthrush, Prairie, Pine, Black-and-white, Yellow-throated, Yellow, Common Yellowthroat. Non-warblers included a Ruby-crowned Kinglet, a Peregrine Falcon, an Indigo Bunting and a couple of Blue Grosbeaks. I birded with Joan Kutulas and Jim Gould in the morning and with Al Hooks in the afternoon.
