Subject: [MASSBIRD] Nahanton Park, Newton: Orange-crowned Warbler and sparrows
Finally a decent sparrow fall-out -- Lincoln's, Field, White-crowned,
Savannah, White-throated, Chipping, Song (as well as Indigo Bunting) --
but the high point of this morning's Newton Conservators / Friends of
Nahanton Park walk was the bright Orange-crowned Warbler seen along the
path between the gardens at around 9:00. I returned later and saw it
again, now at the upper garden and adjacent trees, around 12:00. The
juvenile Bald Eagle flyover was icing.
