Migrants are active at James Island County Park this morning. A short while ago I observed a Philadelphia Vireo from the paved trail behind Splash Zone that leads to the lake. The vireo was foraging both high and low in shrubs and trees near the corner where the trail meets the entrance road and faces the main body of the lake. I also saw a Nashville Warbler among a variety of other more common migrants.
