Subject: [CT Birds] Fairfield Clay-colored Sparrow
I just had a Clay-colored Sparrow at the Metro Conservation Area in
Fairfield. Directions below:

From the entrance at the train station, go right, and bear right when the
path forks. The area would be through the open space from the Kenwood
Avenue entrance. The bird was at the end of the small path parallel to the
train station road, and the path leads directly into a fence. The cement
wall is on your right if you are facing the fence the bird perched on.
There is a small sign on the face that says "Total Fence", and two cans
with bluish green graffiti on them.

There were very few sparrows overall, probably due to the time of day.
