Subject: [ia-bird] migrants
At Parker's Woods there was one small flock which included seven species of
Warblers and one Swainson's Thrush. At a marsh just south of Ventura on the
right side there were fifteen Egrets, and one Barred Owl dead in the road.
At Zirbel Slough there were fifty Yellowlegs, two Stilts, three Pecs and
thirteen Dowitchers out in the shallow water. Two Nelson's Sparrows, six
Lincoln Sparrows, a White-throated, two Clay-colored, Vespers, Song and
Swamp Sparrows were seen, also. Mostly of the airborne were Ring-billed
and Franklin Gulls.
