Subject: [Va-bird] Merrimac Farm
Seven friends of the Merrimac Farm Wildlife Management Area in Nokesville gathered to take part in today's Last-Sunday-of -the-Month birdwalk sponsored by the Prince William Conservation Alliance.  We caught the middle of the Warbler migration as we tallied 9 species of Warbler out of our total of 36 species.  I addition to the Warblers, our highlights included an American Kestrel, a Yellow-throated Vireo, a Killdeer, and a couple of Humingbirds.
