Subject: Yet another Cave Swallow
Just before leaving Beard’s Lake for Millwood State Park, I picked out a third Cave Swallow. This one was the youngest of the three found this morning. Only a few bits of burnt orange had come in on its throat and the sides of its face. Normally by this point in the year, the hatch year Cave Swallows I see are essentially adult like in appearance.
