Good pulses of expected migrants this morning through Fort Mason including 30+ WESTERN TANAGERS, 5+ YELLOW WARBLERS, 4+ WARBLING VIREOS, TOWNSEND'S WARBLERS, BLACK-THROATED GRAY WARBLERS, ORANGE CROWNED WARBLERS, WESTERN WOOD PEWEES, PACIFIC SLOPE FLYCATCHERS, OLIVE-SIDED FLYCATCHER, HERMIT WARBLER, and a tantalizingly short look at a warbler with wing bars. Four WESTERN BLUEBIRDS were near the garden. One SHARP SHINED HAWK was chased by AMERICAN CROWS, who also chased a RED-TAILED HAWK and two COOPER'S HAWK. One GOLDEN CROWNED SPARROW was outside the garden. Yesterday I had close looks at one of the WANDERING TATTLERS.
