Subject: [SFBirds] Summer Tanager, North Lake, G.G.P.
The Summer Tanager was on the Southwest side of the lake about 12:45 pm,
flew to trees near wooden bridge .
It was also North of the restrooms in the huge pine tree, close to foot
path to wooden bridge, later flew west towards the golf course.
It may be a first year male, thick bill, white above eye, crown light
brown, tail light red, under tail coverts were light red, faint brown on
upper breast, light yellow belly, upper wings brownish red.
Mark Lin & Calvin Lee, were also there.

Sam Safran found it early morning Wed. 20th Sept. Good find Sam, thank you.

There were also two Western Tanagers, one Red-tailed Hawk, three Song
Sparrows, one American Coot, eight Mallard Ducks, one Yellow Warbler, one
Wilson's Warbler, one Black Phoebe, one Pacific Wren, Two Stellar Jays, two
Ravens, one Turkey Voulture, two Pied-billed Grebes, one female Downy
Woodpecker, one willow flycatcher, one Pacific Slope Flycatcher, three
Pygmy Nuthatch, & two Anna's Hummingbirds.
