Subject: [CT Birds] CASPIAN TERN milford Point
9/22. Milford Point, as scoped from across the river at Sniffens Lane, Stratford: adult CASPIAN TERN just (11 am) flew in and landed at extreme west end of sandbar. A little while ago one WHIMBREL flew N over the dune and landed in the saltmarsh just west of the coastal center.

Yesterday at Milford Point: MARBLED GODWIT, 3 WHIMBRELS, 1 Dunlin among 11 species shorebirds, plus 1 migrant Common Nighthawk.
