Nothing particularly rare today on Mt. D, but a smattering of migrants came through. Highlights were 2 BLUE-GRAY GNATCATCHERS moving actively around the scrub on the north and east sides of the hill, as well as 5 VAUX'S SWIFTS and 1 VIOLET-GREEN SWALLOW heading south. A couple of HOUSE WRENS were still atop the mountain, and plenty of Western Tanagers and Black-headed Grosbeaks were around, along with a flock of 25 Cedar Waxwings and 24 Band-tailed Pigeons flew south in a few groups. A single Warbling Vireo showed briefly, and bizarrely I didn't see a single warbler of any sort.
