Program: “The Locals: Birds, Butterflies and Other Creatures That Fly From A to Z”

The Lancaster County Bird Club will meet Thursday, September 14, 2017 at 7:00 pm in the auditorium of the Farm and Home Center, 1383 Arcadia Rd., Lancaster, PA.
Wildlife photographer Robert Pierce, will present his program titled “The Locals: Birds, Butterflies and Other Creatures That Fly From A to Z.” By local he means a radius of about 100 miles from his home in central Chester County, PA. This area includes the Jersey shore, Delaware Bay, Chesapeake Bay, Conowingo Dam, Middle Creek WMA, Hawk Mountain and many places in between. Bob is a retired English teacher, having spent 25 years with the Downingtown School District. He is recording secretary for West Chester Bird Club and active with the Birding Club of Delaware County.
A short business meeting will precede the program. The public is invited to attend free of charge and may call 717-393-2546 with questions.
