Subject: Game Commission is seeking any info on mutilated animals on campus

PLEASE SHARE...The PA Game Commission is seeking your help!!!...As of today there have been 6 reported cases of mutilated wild animals on the PSU main campus...rabbits and squirrels with homemade darts and a decapitated rabbit. If you have any information, Officer Mike Steingraber is asking you to call the Game Commission regional office and leave a message for him: 570-398-4744. If you see anything after hours on campus and/or the Game Commission is not available call the campus police at 814-863-1111 or 911.

Arrow bunny was the first to show up August 10th.

RIP arrow bunny...The Game Commission is investigating who may have shot a wild rabbit with a homemade arrow. It was found on the PSU main campus on 8/10/17 and taken directly to Animal Medical Hospital by the Penn State Police where Dr. Ferretti performed surgery to remove the arrow. However, the stress, trauma, infection, surgery and anesthesia were too much for the bunny and it died shortly after surgery. If you have any information please contact the PA Game Commission at 570-398-4744
