In late April we "migrated" north from Amesbury, MA to East Kingston, NH just a click or two south of Exeter. I've steadily built my "yard list" to 100 but lately the Common Nighthawk show had been great. Tonight from 630 to dark I saw over 45 birds basically heading south over the house and neighborhood. My range of view is about 1/3 of a mile from east to west so one wonders how many were on either side if me. These birds seem to come in groups and head mostly southward. Always a treat! Kirk.
