Hello, this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird Report. This report

A PROTHONOTARY WARBLER is now being seen at a home northwest of Portland. If
interested in seeing this bird call 503-307-5480. A CHESTNUT-SIDED WARBLER
was seen August 31 at the mouth of Lower Four Mile Creek south of Bandon. On
September 2 a NORTHERN PARULA was at Page Springs Campground at Malheur NWR.
The September 9 offshore boat trip out of Coos Bay recorded two FLESH-FOOTED
On August 31 two ELEGANT TERNS were at Yaquina Bay. On September 2 two were
at Coos Bay. An EASTERN KINGBIRD was at Bandon September 4. A RUFF was seen
September 2 at the South Jetty of the Siuslaw River. A PACIFIC GOLDEN-PLOVER
was at Alsea Bay September 3. A PRAIRIE FALCON was there September 5. On
September 2 up to 12 Black Swifts were at Newport.
Up to four SABINE'S GULLS were in the Portland-Sauvie Island area during the
week. On September 2 a SNOWY EGRET and three SANDERLINGS were at the Wash on
Sauvie Island. A SANDERLING was at Broughton Beach August 31. On September 5
a GREAT GRAY OWL was in Colton. A flock of nine MARBLED GODWITS were seen
September 4 at Fern Ridge Reservoir.
