Subject: [obol] Prothonotary warbler ? NW MULTNOMAH COUNTY
This evening about. 7-7:15
A warbler flew up to the bird bath as I sat on the deck.
It was bright yellow from the beak down and duller yellow on the head and
back. Its tail and wings were blue gray.
I also thought it had a longer beak for its size and a short tail.
It flew up and perched above for a few minutes only allowing the front view
than back down to a different bath where it bathed than flew off.
After looking in the NG bird guide the only match was a female Prothonotary
warbler.
What else could it be?
Any ideas?
