Subject: [MASSBIRD] Red-necked Phalarope, Belle Isle Marsh
Hi Massbirders,A juvenile Red-necked Phalarope found earlier today by
Marshall Iliff was present as of 6pm at "The Key" section of Belle
Isle Marsh in Revere.
For those unfamiliar, here'sā€Ž Soheil Zendeh's instructions on how to
get there/where to park:
"The Key (named because of what it looks like from the air) is a
squarish impoundment with a couple of openings to tidal waters of
Short Beach Creek, a branch of Belle Isle Creek. You can reach The Key
by heading southwest on Summer Street, Beachmont (Revere). Park close
to the dead-end but be sure not to block any driveways. There are a
couple of small side streets with plenty of parking, if need be.

At the end of Summer Street there is a metal gate and then a path over
a mini-causeway leading to the square impoundment.ā€Ž"
