The Roseate Spoonbill was on the Conodoguinet Creek at 4:50 PM today Saturday September 2, 2017 slightly upstream from where he/she was seen last weekend. The bird was feeding and walking in shallow water on the far side of the creek from Lamp Post Lane between the turnaround and the first house on the creek side of Lamp Post Lane. Very easy to spot, the pink feathers are quire noticeable, but would require a telephoto lens for a good photo. It was drizzling a bit, he shook off the water and kept on feeding. It was nice to get one more look!
