Subject: [SanDiegoRegionBirding] No Baird's
A morning trip today (Aug 28th) to the YMCA Camp Surf area did not produced the continuing Baird's Sandpiper.
The area between the two jetties and a substantial distance north of the second jetty was searched without any luck.

No small shorebirds to the south of or between the two jetties. All activity was to the north of the second jetty with quite a few peeps up there.

For any birders going looking for this bird BEWARE of confusion with muddy-legged Least Sandpipers. There has been a significant influx of Least Sandpipers and several of them had dirty legs.
**Also beware of one Least that is showing dark olive pigmented legs. He is hanging out by himself just north of the second jetty.
