Subject: [CT Birds] Brewster's Warbler
We took a pleasant "early fall" walk at the Kellogg Center and Osborndale
State Park in Derby this morning. There were good numbers of migrant
passerines along the edges of the fields. The highlight was a first
generation male "Brewster's" Warbler (Golden-winged/Blue-winged hybrid),
seen along the western edge of the Kellogg Center field. 43 species in
total. Full report on ebird.
