KS Birders,
I spent a couple hours in SW Greenwood this morning. There is a really cool
road, the old highway now #32, that runs just east of Beaumont for a couple
of miles. Great habitat along this stretch of road. No white fork-tailed
birds seen. It was overcast but there were turkey vultures, red-tails and
a Cooper's hawk soaring, plus a lot of swallow around. Best bird was an
olive-sided flycatcher, seen on road 50 north a couple miles. Lots of
family groups around, pewees, gnatcatchers, chickadees, etc.

Good birding
