Subject: [obol] Coos shorebirds including relatively rare AVOCETS
Yesterday at New River we were pleasantly surprised to find 2 AMERICAN
AVOCETS on the beach - a little bit out of place.....and a GOLDEN PLOVER
was down near Floras Lake area making that bird a Curry Cty
individual. There were a couple of BAIRD'S SANDPIPERS on the New
River spit.

Today at Coos Bay North Spit were 1 LONG-BILLED CURLEW and 1 RED-NECKED lots and lots of Sanderling with the usual Western
Sandpipers and Semipalmated Plovers mixed in (and Snowy Plover, of course).
