Subject: [obol] Coos shorebirds
Yesterday at Coos Bay North Spit I heard a BAIRD'S SANDPIPER flying over
head and a LONG-BILLED CURLEW on the beach. A GREEN HERON was noted
flying around along the main entrance road near the aeration ponds.

The previous day at New River was a juvenile MARBLED GODWIT, and a
LONG-BILLED CURLEW over the ocean. There was also a WILLET out there,
and I believe on 31 July we saw two WILLETS and two LB CURLEWS out there
at New River.
