I put in a 4 hour lake watch from 8:45-12:45 EST.  Winds shifted from blowing southwest to NE about 9:30 am, bringing a few shorebirds.
Highlights were a juvenile Piping Plover that was born at Sleeping Bear Dunes.  It was one of two fledglings, and may or may not have been the same bird that Mike Bourdon photographed yesterday at New Buffalo.
