This morning I was able to see the continuing Baird's Sandpiper as well as a juvenile Semipalmated Sandpiper at Area K. There are a couple of juv Westerns around as well. Most of the Saturday birds continue including the WF Ibis, but is smaller numbers. It's best to look for the birds early AM if there is a marine layer or after 6 pm, when good light is present and the heat haze will start to die down. A scope is needed as well as patience, as the birds often feed out of sight for periods.
