Subject: [AZNMbirds] SEAZ: East Tucson Fall Migration Morning Flight today 27 July 2017
Hi Birders

This morning Will Russell and I had a moderate flight from about 5:30 until
8 am when the movement pretty much stopped, from my SE Tucson yard.

Sifting through the many White-winged Doves and House Finches flying over
we had 122 migrants of 11 species. Birds were moving south except where

Cassin's Kingbird 1 FOS
Western Kingbird 17
Northern Rough-winged Swallow 1 FOS
Phainopepla 11 flying every which way
Lark Sparrow 41
Lark Bunting 2 flying north
Western Tanager 10
Black-headed Grosbeak 2
Lazuli Bunting 2
Hooded Oriole 4 FOS for obvious migrants
Bullock's Oriole 20
Unidentified Passerine 12 (all mid-sized grosbeak/tanager/oriole)
