Looks like it might be a female Pin-tailed Whydah.

According to the ebird list for Craig Regional Park, they are there.

I have tried and tried to post this to a couple California birding news
sites but can't get it to go through. Any help I can get with ID would be
greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Glen

Please help ID this bird I saw on Wednesday June 28th at Craig Regional Park
around 1:00 pm. Click links below. Could this be an escaped or released pet
bird? I also saw a pair of Spice Finches at the same location which I
believe are normally kept as pets as well. Other link.
